Mullins Media Co.'s video: Donna Story

Taking a break from photography education real quick to share Donna's story. We frequently hear about foster kids and we see ads about becoming a foster family, but we rarely hear the story from the birth family point of view. It saddens me to see foster families and birth families work against each other with the foster children stuck in the middle. I am hoping to bring light to all sides so that we can work TOGETHER for the best outcome. If we take the time to step back and look at the big picture, we will see that often times birth families should have been in foster care themselves, they may lack a good support system, and usually have no one pouring love into them. If we get them help, we can break the cycle of abuse. Birth families love their children, they want the best for the children, but because of their traumatic past, they often need help themselves first. Let's work TOGETHER for the kids sake. This is Donna's story.
