Ade Gregg's video: The Kenny Everett Naughty Joke Box part 1 - Restored

What's all this then? Well its various stand up acts interspersed with Kenny Everett. Programme featuring Kenny Everett who introduces comedians Lennie Bennett, Fogwell Flax, John Junkin, Pat Mooney, William Rushton, Barry Cryer and Leslie Crowther (who was cut from the LP) The BFI page states it's from 1981, yet that cant be, Kenny mentions his BBC work and a snatch of the theme is played at the end of the LP's. Even all the copyright states 1984, so yeah even the BFI makes mistakes! The video has been restored and 2 different Tapes have been used in sections to create the entire presentation. In this Special Edition Ive combined the STEREO LP with the mono LO-Fi and created the first stereo mix this video has had. The stereo album is pretty poorly cut and mastered, the stereo is pretty much faked, but its a mile better than the hissy lo-fi ST of the VHS tape, The LP goes for 44 mins and the Video some 1:19:00 so some of the Video is still in Lo-fi (but restored) Ive spent a while cutting in all the bits i could from the album. Any thoughts, I DO spend quite a while restoring this stuff and when I see bugger all comments It makes me want to stop. Think of me as a comment driven restoration machine.
