This particular Phantom had come back to life (Partially) after taking a deep swim in my pool lol. It was known as FrankenKopter because it was made up of so many off and mismatching parts. The insides were pretty much gutted and it had come to a point where the copter was more of a risk and liability to fly. It was just a matter of time before one of the water damaged parts failed. Rather than to continue to fly it and risk it failing due out of the sky due to all the damage and corroded parts, I decided to dispose of it in a fun way. We figured this was better than giving it away to someone only to later have the copter fail and cause damage or injury. The end result was pretty awesome :) This was conducted on a closed Private Law Enforcement range with LE personnel present and supervising.
