Zina's video: Duke is Pure Love

Hi Peeps! I’ve been taking a bit of a mental break from social media and spending more time outdoors with my loved ones... including the Duke of MOOshire! Enjoy this little video! Duke is pure love and it is my pleasure to share this experience with you! If you’re feeling down these days, I highly recommend getting outside and spending time with animals! Become a volunteer at your local animal sanctuary! I’ve been volunteering at Aimee’s Farm Animal Sanctuary for two years and the experience has healed my soul! Duke is a special needs calf who was born with crooked front legs and dwarfism. Aimee rescued his Mom, MOOnflower who was a victim of dairy farming in Arizona. She was rescued while pregnant with Duke back in March of 2020. Sadly, Mom passed away a month after giving birth from bloat. She was suffering from health issues associated with dairy farming and despite Aimee's efforts, the damage was beyond our veterinary team's ability to treat. MOOnflower's sudden passing was a shock to all of us and we've been rallying around Duke providing him with the best care. One of our volunteers Charlie has engineered a wheelchair for Duke and we will be starting that therapy shortly. Duke receives sponge baths and massage therapy twice a day and has been thriving at Aimee's Sanctuary. He is an absolute angel and we love him with our entire hearts!
