Tribal Council Members Anthony W. Purnel and Jessica Norte, of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, were honored today to present a $10,000 donation to Brian Daly, of the American Red Cross in Palm Desert. The donation will go toward assisting residents who have been displaced due to the Snow and El Dorado fires. Meanwhile, according to CalFire’s statewide summary: Crews continue to battle 25 major wildfires in California with more than 17,400 firefighters on the front lines.
