This is Editors playing Heart Attack at Pinkpop 16th June 2023. Given that the band are predominantly known for what they do live, it's often the case that they will take the studio versions of their music and alter them in that environment. Sometimes the changes are subtle, such as a flourish of keys where once there were only guitars, but other times they will take more drastic action. Heart attack had previously possessed an intro on both the recorded take and the live renditions, but for the summer festival cycle they appear to have dropped it entirely. It means that you just get a 4 count from Ed and then everything starts. If you know your Editors lyrics then you'll spot the mistake during the second verse, something that Tom clearly recognised. It's a sign of just how comfortable they are on such large stages, that these small potential diversions of focus cause nothing more than a wry grin of acknowledgement.
