Airborne Lemming's video: Editors - 14 seconds of Tom Smith and Andy Burrows being directed by Edith Bowman 4th December 2020

What 14 seconds of fever-dreamed weirdness is this? You have Smith and Burrows in a rehearsal space, being filmed and directed by EdiBow. Tom does a mock "yada yada yada" introduction, switches on the S&B lights (and reacts with frightening enthusiasm), while Andy plays a burst of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". I get it, it's not strictly Editors so its inclusion here is tenuous, but it does raise interesting possibilities. Is there something else going on here that Smith and Burrows fans should be on the lookout for down the line? Rehearsal for an online live performance, perhaps? If they're both playing then it would make sense that they need Edith there to film the set. Are they teasing an early christmas treat? Time will tell.
