Airborne Lemming's video: Editors - Magazine live at Pinkpop 16th June 2023 3FM Broadcast

Editors have a long history with Pinkpop. The earliest recording I have of them was from back in 2006, where they were joined for part of their set by We Are Scientists. Asses were slapped, high-fives were delivered and R.E.M. got covered on the night. They visited regularly in the interim, aside from the obvious covid years, and now they find themselves on the stage again. In the popular fan consciousness, Editors will always belong to Werchter. Mostly because of Jason and No Sound but the Wind and while that's true, you shouldn't sleep on the affinity they have with Pinkpop. I don't recall them having a bad show when they play there, and the trend continued tonight. It's summed up extremely succinctly during the first few notes of Magazine by a member of the crowd.
