This pair was meant to highlight everything that's essential to Henrietta Lacks. The red soles I painted red represents Henriettas obsession she had of her red finger and toe nail polish. . Photographs of Henrietta and her Husband Day are shown on the exterior with The Immortal Hela cells on the toe caps and inside the Nike checks.
