Relatively easy to clean a very little mess. Steams jumbo eggs just fine. No piercing of the egg. Booklet had great tips and I learned about eggs. I never knew that older eggs shells separate from the egg more easily than fresh eggs and the whys. I never liked the mess of boiling eggs in water. I either undercooked or over cooked them and the yoke had a green ring around the yoke. Now it looks just right. This will be a piece of cake to make deviled eggs for a party.
