@Why you NEED to train to Failure for maximum muscle growth - Bodybuilding tips #bodybuilding
Should you Train till failure to BUILD maximum Muscles ? = "Effective Reps" refers to the last 3 to 4 counts of any exercise performed. These reps contribute the most to muscle growth. This means if you achieve failure at 8 reps, the last 4 reps will be more effective than the first 4 reps. - However, most people end their set as soon as they feel a bit of fatigue or stop at 12 reps just because their program says to do 3 sets of 12 reps. But you need to take your sets to the point where if someone asks you to do one more rep with a gun to your head, you still couldn't do it. That's true failure.🔑 - Studies also show that leaving 1 to 2 reps in the tank and training to failure yield similar results, but if you've never trained to failure, you'll never know your actual limit. Therefore, training all or some of your sets to failure is very important for building the maximum amount of muscle.
