Alay Shah's video: How Long should you REST between sets musclebuilding

@How Long should you REST between sets ? #musclebuilding
Rest between Sets 👇🏻 1.Type of Exercise 2. Intensity If the exercise is a heavy compound movement like the bench press, I need to take 4-5 minutes of rest after completing a set. 1. This allows my breathing to return to normal, 2. reduces the soreness in my chest and other secondary engaged muscles, and 3. ensures that I can perform the next set with full potential. If I manage 10 reps in the first set, I should aim to get at least 7-8 reps in the next set. - On the other hand, if it's an isolation exercise like side raises, I usually recover within 2 to 3 minutes and am ready for the next set. Intensity varies for each individual, so if you need more than 5 minutes of rest, you should take it. However, if you feel ready for the next set just 1 minute after finishing the previous one, there's a 0.1% chance you’re a superman and a 99.9% chance you’re not training to failure. To increase your intensity, make sure you’re pushing yourself enough. Share this with your gym buddies.
