Reaching in the USA, this song was written without any specific girl/lady in mind. The Nelson brothers wrote this coming out of their teens. Gunnar Nelson believed it was about his future love, which eventually turned out to be his wife Lila in 2014. His wife used to have The Nelsons poster hanging up in her room. A pretty cool love story and fitting for such wonderful lyrics. The After The Rain album had some powerhouse musicians along with the Nelson brothers. Bobby Rock, drummer, fresh out of Vinnie Vincent Invasion, laid down this heavy grooving track.
