It's hard to believe one of my favorite drummers is gone. This song was never a big hit for Quiet Riot, but I loved it for Frankie Banali's strong double bass groove, and the over-dub fill in the break. For this version, I attempted to cover the over-dub, which I never saw Frankie do live. It really is a fabulous song for a drummer to have fun with. The only thing I would have done differently was have louder monitors, because my double bass drums were making it hard for me to hear the song while playing. That is never good while recording.
