The Reset came about in response to the endless stories of corruption within the British Establishment and it has responded to research by historians who have uncovered a constitution for the people of the United Kingdom that dates back to the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215. The Reset's proposal is the abolition of current methods of taxation, and its replacement by a TEAL (Total Economic Activity Levy) of just one per cent for any individual or corporation making a financial transaction in order to relieve the tax burden considerably on ordinary people whilst reaping billions from the monolithic corporations who have so far avoided paying any tax at all with all other, much-needed changes to society being built from this.
