We do so in a joking manner, but our points are still valid. I'll sum up our points here. The Friend Zone: When a girl puts a guy in the friendzone, it usually means she is just downright not attracted, usually physically, but sometimes there are just components of the guy's personality that she feels wouldn't make for a good boyfriend. Being friendzoned can hurt, a lot, but it can also be an awesome thing because you learn a lot about the opposite sex and how to interact with others from an insider's view! Can guys and girls be JUST friends: I believe NO, if either of them are attractive. Guys and girls can have a very strong friendship, but there WILL be sexual tension there whether they like it or not. (Obviously this applies to people attracted to the opposite sex). The only way that this is not true is if BOTH parties are 100% unnatracted to the other, which rarely happens because men and women tend to form close, intimate bonds when they are in close quarters with each other, or talk every day. Nice guys finish last: This is very untrue. MOST girls are looking for a guy who is nice, old fashioned and attractive, but they are often tricked by jerks who masquerade as nice guys! Plus, from my experience, I've noticed that some guys who consider themselves nice aren't nice at all! They just THINK they are, but they are total tools! Again, many of the guys who are stereotypically "nice" just aren't what women are looking for physically, and they end up being friend-zoned. It's a vicious cycle, but at the end we talk about being confident, even if you aren't the best looking person in the world, and people WILL be attracted to you, but not if you constantly complain about being ugly and awkward :) Last note: DO NOT confuse The Friend Zone, with the Friends With Benefits Zone! The Friend Zone means there is absolutely no attraction there and they basically see you as a little brother or sister. The Friends With Benefits Zone means someone IS attracted to you physically and sexually, but is just too much of a pussy to commit to you officially, OR they are just so horny that they take what they can get. Either way, they are NOT your friend if they only see you as a sexual object!
