Today we are going to be looking at the topic of setting goals and targets for the years ahead (new years resolutions). So we will be discussing the point of setting goals, going over exactly how well I faired at accomplishing my previous years and what aspirations i have set for the year ahead. I feel setting your self goals is one of the most important things in life. They dont all have to be hugely aspirational, and even the smaller sometimes considered to be insignificant can actually be the most important in enabling progression within your life. Setting yourself easier targets that you can tick off quickly is a great motivator to achieve more and keep the progression going, to then move onto the more challenging goals that might require a bit more thinking and problem solving. I like to break my goals down into different categories, within my life, so they may be purely for pleasure or alternatively financial gain. So for me we have: Financial, YouTube and General. By setting these goals it also gives a greater level of perspective to look back and see how well you are doing at what ever it is. Without it can be easy to get caught up the the journey and lose your footing, this is partly why I think it is so valuable to look back and really judge yourself on the progress...
