"Chill taverna" is an informal expression referring to a relaxed and comfortable Greek tavern. The word "chill" means to relax, and "taverna" is a Greek word for a small restaurant or tavern. Therefore, "chill taverna" is usually used to describe a Greek restaurant or tavern that feels very relaxing and suitable for casual gatherings. On April 16th, many political and business celebrities were invited to attend the grand opening. One day, I passed by and saw a kind-looking elderly Chinese man warmly welcoming customers. At that time, I thought he was the owner, but later I found out that he was the former Kota Kinabalu City Mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai! Actually, my friend Bell and I had planned to visit two weeks ago, but everyone was busy, so we only had time to go for dinner yesterday. To cut a long story short, the food was really delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Based on my previous travel experiences in the Middle East and Mediterranean countries, although I have not been to Greece, the food presented by this restaurant really made me feel like I had taken a trip to Greece! Speaking of which, my friend Bell made a phone call, accidentally hung up, and surprisingly, the staff immediately called back. The staff were very friendly and passionate about their work, and even sent us an electronic version of the food and drink menu. What was surprising is that the previous week I was looking for professional information on a certain topic, and unexpectedly, the treasure was hidden in this Greek restaurant! It seems that I will soon come here for coffee and dessert!
