Alex Roe's video: Eternal Memoria Soundtrack Sampler - A Taste of the West

Eternal Memoria is an upcoming JRPG by a small indie team inspired by classic JRPGs such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Suikoden. The game focuses on four heroes with strong character development and a rich and diverse story that does not shy from mature themes, and dives deep into the political aspects of its world. Like the great classic JRPGs you explore the world of Concordia and engage in a demanding battle system where you customise your heroes with its job system. I wrote this music with a demo we had in mind around August/September when I had the time to work on this, with plans to kickstart the game sometime this year. We had to unfortunately push this back to an unknown date for several reasons, partly because the two creators of the game have full time jobs and trying to commit to the project is difficult. The logo is temporary and everything is a work in progress, and because we have to delay development more we thought it would be cool to share the music I made since it would be public anyway when the Kickstarter did happen. For a long time we have had this idea for this game and have kept it under wraps, our goal is to make one of the best JRPGs ever, we feel that the JRPGs of the 90s and early 00s were the best of their kind and we want to produce something that sits along with those that we have loved. I have a lot of ambitious ideas for the soundtrack alone, something I hope will elevate the story and characters beyond the art and words that already make them so interesting in the first place. I love the story that is being written, every time I have read more of it I have been excited and demanding more. I'm working with my friends who were making Chrono Ark almost ten years ago and we hope with Eternal Memoria we can produce something that is ours and reinvigorates JRPG fans of old and new. I can't discuss more of the game or what the music is for, that will all come in due time.
