I am beyond crushed to hear the news today of the death of one of my biggest inspirations. Prince was the entire package, the real deal. Talented guitar player, great voice, amazing performer, über creative, fashionable, always pushing the limits, experimenting and trying new things. The epitome of what rock is about. Never imagining that this would have happened, last weekend ironically I played Purple Rain at a local gig so I wanted to share.
