Jorge Moran scored in the 33rd minute and Marcio Teurel scored off a penalty kick in the 51st minute for CD FAS. But it was Marco Di Vaio in the 60th minute that allowed Montreal to walk away the victor. Then Felipe Martins received a red card in the 74th minute leaving Montreal to play the last 17 minutes with a man down. Despite the win it wasn’t good game play especially when you consider CD FAS had half their team left behind in El Salvador due to Visa issues. Montreal started off strong but then fizzled and yes I realize they won but there is a difference between winning against a champion and winning against a bunch of schoolkids. Unless something happens with Henry and Phillip-Thomas I just don’t see Montreal having the stamina to defeat the Red Bulls.
