Allen's video: 2022 Texas Primaries Prediction March 1 2022 Midterms Season Begins

Texas holds the first in the nation primaries of the 2022 Election Cycle. With many offices up for grabs in the general election this November, both Republicans and Democrats are striving to nominate their candidates. In this prediction video, I only focus on the Governors, Lieutenant Governors, and Attorney General races. Each office is currently held by Republicans and all are endorsed by Former President Donald Trump. However, each face primary challenges most notably in the AG Race. Governor Greg Abbott is expected to carry over 50% of the vote avoiding a runoff alongside LT. Governor Dan Patrick. AG Ken Paxton faces a competitive primary with George P. Bush as polling shows him trailing under 50%. On the Democratic side, Beto O’Rourke is expected to easily win the nomination for Governor. LT Governor is expected to be close between Mike Collier and Michelle Beckley, may or may not head a runoff alongside with the AG Race.
