One with superb, intricate detail that’s fully accurate in every aspect, and all without simulations of that dreadful demise? That dream is soon becoming a reality... There is one man who lives in Chilé who is working on a magnificent, highly detailed project to recreate the original WTC Twin Towers and complex in the 3D CAD software Blender and Unreal Engine. He’s been working on it since April 2023. His portfolio page is on Instagram, under the name “WTC rebuilt”. Supplied with the original blueprints and thousands of images and resources from fans and enthusiasts within the Twin Towers nostalgia community, the WTC rebuilt project is aimed to be a virtual reality experience of the entire complex in all its beauty, both inside and out. To ensure this masterpiece reaches fruition, he regularly backs-up all his files. As new rare pictures and diagrams surface within the community, the project gets regular updates and tweaks to increase coverage and accuracy.
