@The Space Party — Amazing Kerbal Space Adventure: a full-length KSP cinematic
The best (and most scientifically accurate) kerbal cinematic space movie ever... A world-renowned space engineering assistant: Clare Kerman, is serving another long term expedition in space aboard Skylab II. Her birthday is coming up on May 4, and will be her first birthday in space in her career. However her spouse - Phillip Kerman, is not an astronaut and desperately wants to travel up there to reunite and celebrate. Not wanting to miss this rare opportunity, he not only wants the event to be extra special, but also to make history by holding the first ever party in space aboard the space station. With help from the legendary space architect Raphael J. Chryslar (who build Skylab II), and Administrator Gene Kranz; they scramble a last minute launch to send Phillip and three other crew members up to the station, in narrow time for the party! The 'kerbalized' language was inspired by cinematic movies made by famous KSP YouTuber Matt Lowne. Check an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq3POrzfK2w&t=1851s Real NASA acronyms were used in the Launch and Mission control scenes. You can find out info about what they mean here: https://science.ksc.nasa.gov/shuttle/technology/sts-newsref/stsover-acronyms.html https://science.ksc.nasa.gov/facts/acronyms.html __________________ Special music credits to Daniel Perotta and Leandro Costa, from 'Lado De Ca' - supplying beautifully made Brazilian guitar music for this project. Check out their channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCREh1M8kxmcPg1BsFV4nxRQ All other music credits go to their respective creators. ___________________ Additional Notes: Some of the kerbal vocal only in the launch scenes are in the normal format (such as the countdown and booster sep), as they don't sound right in the "kerbalized" form. This project took 5 months to complete. __________________ Mods: Real Solar System, with RVE Scatterer Chatterer Camera Tools Procedural Tanks B9 Aerospace (panels, etc) Xmas mod Lack Luster labs Bargain rocket parts (microwave, washing machine, etc) Wild Blue industries (containers, TV, etc) Umbra space industries Kerbal Inventory System ISS community CXA Aerospace Station Parts Fustek SXT KOSMOS Stockalike Station Parts Expansion Redux Tarsier Space Technology Furniture Mod (fridge, computers, sofa, bookshelves, etc) Glass things Tweakscale Tweakable Everything Flashing lights Reentry Particle Effect Nebula Decals LeBeau industries (Soyuz Atlantis spacecraft) HabTech Mechjeb Scansat
