Alumnitrek's video: Pokhara to Jomsom Flight for Muktinath Yatra - Nepal

@Pokhara to Jomsom Flight for Muktinath Yatra - Nepal
A very rudimentary airport at Pokhara is boarding point for the flight. The incoming flight is clearly seen on the backdrop of hills and after landing and disembarking of passengers, the boarding is prompt without any hassle. On board the small aircraft, the pilots can be seen manipulating the controls. The take off, landing and flight time is around 30 minutes. Muktinath temple is 25 km from Jomsom and covered in one hour by road. Muktinath is a popular Vishnu temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, located in Muktinath Valley at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass in Mustang, Nepal. The main shrine is a pagoda shaped temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There are 108 waterspouts in the backyard of this temple called as Muktidhara where frozen water is continuously flowing from the bullhead and two Kunda (ponds in front of the temple). Taking bath in these 108 waterspouts and two Kunda (ponds) believes to bring salvation.
