Alumnitrek's video: Topi Antelopes - Vulnerable Species - Masai Mara Kenya

@Topi Antelopes - Vulnerable Species - Masai Mara, Kenya
They are medium¬-sized antelopes with a striking reddish-brown to purplish-red coat. Distinct black patches appear on their face, their upper forelegs, and on their hips and thighs. To complete their singular appearance, the topi's yellowish-tan legs look like they are encased in stockings. IUCN in 2008, based on an estimated population of ca. 93,000, with over 90% in protected areas, and a lack of evidence to show an overall decline of over 20% over three generations (20 years) that would “near threatened” or “Vulnerable species” status. Nonetheless they stated that they believed the population was trending downward. We came across 2 of them grazing at Masai mara.
