Sometimes the best way to find places to eat is to ask the locals. I have to be honest, this was not my first time in in Iloilo. A few years ago, I was here to visit a friend and I ended up going to the La Paz Festival. I consumed so much Batchoy that day that I fell in love with that dish. So this time around, I wanted to get a feel of the most local places to eat. A few taxi drivers and hotel staff helped me find the best La Paz Batchoy, Molo and a heavenly seafood feast. I had such a great time that I kind of regret not exploring more of the La Paz market to try the different stalls that sell Batchoy. I hereby nominate La Paz Style Batchoy as The Philippine's contender to Ramen. So come join me as I roam around the City of Iloilo and sample the unique dishes that originated here.
