The great Ethiopian Singer, Song writer and composer Teddy Afro has released his latest album "Tikur Sew" (which means Black Man) yesterday. This is the song itself "Tikur Sew" from the album. The song is the highlight of the album and it's about the late King Emperor Menelik (1844-1913) who mobilized the nation and defeated the Italian aggressive colonial invasion in March 1896. In history it is noted as "The Battle of Adwa" . The song generally is about Freedom ...... Had it not been for our great grand father's and great grand mother's heroic victory on the European Colonialist invaders, our consciousnesses wouldn't have been the same ...
