Amazing Planet's video: Real MAMMOTH and TASMANIAN TIGER brought BACK TO LIFE

@Real MAMMOTH and TASMANIAN TIGER brought BACK TO LIFE?!
Real MAMMOTH and TASMANIAN TIGER brought BACK TO LIFE?! Australian scientists from the Lazarus Project, having made a number of recent cloning breakthroughs, are on the cusp of resurrecting an extinct species of frog! (a frog, by the way, that used to give birth through its mouth!) Anyway, not only have these brilliant Aussie scientists reversed natural selection, but they’ve also grown embryos containing the frog’s DNA. And given that this frog – which went extinct in the 1980s – is expected to hop back into life in the near future… the question must be asked, what next? What other extinct creature might be brought back from the dead!? Personally I’d like to see the great woolly mammoth back on the scene… perhaps alongside the mysterious and magnificent Tasmanian Tiger! Both of these unfortunate creatures have tremendous appeal and they both went extinct way too soon. Now thanks to the sophisticated cloning technology employed by the team at the Lazarus Project such a DE-extinction event is no longer just a fantasy. Using a cutting-edge process called somatic cell nuclear transfer, scientists have been able to reactivate dead cells into living cells! As such the Lazarus Team are increasingly confident that their technology and experimentation will one day become an unparalleled conservation tool that may save thousands of animal species from catastrophic decline and ultimate oblivion. And what about you?! Maybe some people would like to see a real live Megalodon or a Dodo or a Dinosaur… or even a Lee Harvey Oswald…. and we could finally find out, once and for all, whether Oswald really was the one… who failed to return those books that he borrowed from the Texas Depository. Hahaha. This has been another Amazing Planet Production. Thanks very much for watching. ***The Music -- called "feather" -- was composed by PETER MCISAAK MUSIC.
