Amazing Planet's video: World s BIGGEST CHRISTMAS TREE

Wow! Check this out. According to Guinness world records this is the largest Christmas tree on the planet. This enormous illuminated decorative tree is made out of around 1000 individual lights – which stretch over 650 metres high and about 350 metres wide. The tree -- the absolute biggest in the world -- has been installed annually, since 1981, on the slopes of Mount Ingino, near the town of Gubbio in central Italy. And it is lit from the 7th of December through to January 10 (and in fact this magnificent work of Italian art was in 2011 formally launched by Pope Benedict via his tablet computer).
