VENEZUELAN POODLE MOTH! (Amazing Animals you probably didn't know existed – volume 1.) Has anyone heard of the Venezuelan Poodle Moth? Anyone? I certainly hadn’t… what a crazy little critter. It was discovered in 2009 in the Gran Sabana region of Venezuela. And it’s thought to be an entirely new species of moth. Dr Arthur Anker of Kyrgystan took the original photos… and they’ve been baffling zoologists ever since.
