World’s DEADLIEST SNAKE! (In terms of toxicity and potential lethality.) This is the inland taipan, otherwise known as the fierce snake. They are an extremely venomous animal, with their venom being by far the most toxic of any snake. In fact it is estimated that one bite from an inland taipan possesses enough lethality to kill more than 200 people. Found only in the semi-arid regions of central east Australia, the inland taipan is a specialist mammal hunter, with its venom especially adapted to kill warm-blooded species. While extremely fast and agile, the inland taipan is a very shy and reclusive creature with a placid disposition, usually preferring to avoid confrontation – but if they are provoked or cornered the snake can strike with deadly accuracy. Mind you, because they live in such remote locations, away from major population centers, these timid creatures don’t actually kill nearly as often as some other less lethal species that are more common to human populated areas.
