Areli Gallegos has been in the same profession for 13 years. She decided to step out of her comfort zone and open her own salon. Her bravery and passion for hair color faced challenges in owning a business. She was familiar with managing one but did not have a foundation of accounting, licensing or budgeting. She visited the SBDC and our Assistant Director David helped her get her books in order and showed her the path towards business ownership. With her faith, family, friends and a foundation of understanding, Areli has successfully opened The Lennox Salon.
