Abandoned Marble Mine: Hauntingly Beautiful, Unexplained Noises, and Things Left Behind! Here is part two of my exploration of an abandoned marble mine. This marble mine has been apparently closed down for a number of years, but I don't know exactly how long. I don't know how old the mine is, but from things found inside it looks like seventy or more years old. The marble veins that are still visible are beautiful! There are types of rock that are also very scenic, but I don't know what they are since I have never been a rockhound. While I was there, I kept hearing noises from areas down below other than the water noises. They sounded like bangs and were coming from areas deep inside the mine that are inaccessible. Were they naturally occurring somehow or paranormal? Maybe the spirits of some of the miners still working? Tell me in the comments what you think!
