The GNRR runs from Marietta, Georgia to McCaysville, Georgia transporting mostly timber, grain, poultry, and marble products. Here, GNRR 2000, an EMD 38-2 built in 1969 is seen assembling a train that consists of locomotives CEFX (CIT Group/Capital Finance) 421, an EMD GP39-2 built in 1976, CLC 3810, and CLC 3810, an EMD GP38-2 built in 1971, and gondolas. Also seen is GNRR 9708, an EMD GP38 built in 1969 being switched from one track to another. This is .
