This bizarre discovery was made by a little boy while walking near a rather secluded lake in the country of Estonia. Apparently, the boy noticed that there were tracks leading to the lake, but no vehicles around. 9: Giant Armadillo Shell In the middle of a dried-out riverbed, a farmer in Argentina came upon a bizarre discovery. He found an ancient graveyard containing the fossilized shells of four giant armadillos, also known as Glyptodonts, that were each the size of a Volkswagen Beetle. 8: Giant Stone Hand In the absolute middle of nowhere in the Atacama Desert of Chile, there is a giant hand sticking out of the ground. It's a surreal thing to see in the middle of the otherwise barren nothingness, and the reason the hand is even there is quite strange. 7: Sunken Stone Cairn It doesn't get much more middle of nowhere than the bottom of the sea.
