This chatpati & simple Palak Paneer recipe is a family favourite. This recipe uses minimum ingredients but the process & style of cooking is what makes it so special. Try my version now! Palak Paneer Ingredients Spinach (Palak)- 400 gm (cleaned and washed thoroughly) Green chillies (deseeded) - 2-3 Paneer - 300 gm (Cut into big cubes) Oil- 2 tbsp Garlic (chopped)- 6-7 Onions (chopped) - 3 (medium) Ginger (chopped) - 1 tbsp Green chillies (chopped) - 1 tbsp Tomatoes (chopped)- 3 (medium) Salt - to taste Turmeric powder - ½ tsp Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Chaat masala - ½ tsp Ghee - 1 tbsp Method:- - Boil water in a large pot. Once the water starts boiling, add the spinach leaves and boil them for 2-3 minutes. - Remove the spinach leaves and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice-cold water. (This helps retain the green color.) - Drain the spinach and add it to a blender jar along with green chilies. Blend them into a smooth pureé. Keep aside. - Heat oil in a kadhai over medium heat, add garlic and cook till golden brown. - Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. - Add ginger along with chopped green chillies and sauté for a min. - Now, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are soft. - Season with salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & chaat masala. Mix well and cook till oil separates from the mixture. - Now, add the palak pureé to the pan & mix well with the masala. Cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat. - Add the paneer cubes to the gravy and mix gently. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to let the flavours combine well. - Once done, transfer to a serving dish and pour ghee on top, this gives a rich texture to the dish. - Serve hot with lachha paratha & enjoy your delicious palak paneer!😋😋 Looking for some delicious recipes to try at home?
