Some of the most interesting things happened when we put undiluted alcohol inks directly on top of wet resin. Naturally we wanted to do more with this technique and thought it would be fun to see who could make the best piece with it. It's a super simple process and shouldn't be too daunting even if you're new to resin or alcohol inks. The ink pretty much does what it wants as you drip it onto the resin and it always produces a neat effect. The biggest tip that we came away with is that the alcohol seems to suck up the resin as it dries so be prepared to make a little bit of extra resin in case you end up with divots. This was also our first head to head and I'm sure we''ll be doing more video like this.
