Anamika Singh Adaa shares the magical journey that manifested Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya’s prophecy into the “Ishq-e-Adaa” qawwali. This journey began in 2006 when she first stepped into the shrine of this 13th Century Sufi Saint. 13 years later she was invited to receive his ishaara (message), at the Chilla Sharif, where he lived and meditated for 65 years, and realized enlightenment. His descendant, Haider Syed Nizami, conveyed that Mehboob-e-Ilahi (Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya) regarded Anamika his daughter and she was ordained to write a poem on human self –realization involving dard (suffering), dawa (healing) and the dua (prayer), which would be sung as a qawwali (devotional love song) through the ages. The first musical composition and debut performance of this qawwali was done by Niazi Nizami Brothers from Dargah Nizamuddin, at the Chilla Sharif (home) of Mehboob-e-Ilahi. Anamika passionately transports the audience into the mystical origin of “Ishq-e-Adaa.” This Sufi girl breathes love and envisions a world of oneness. This miracle is a reaffirmation of her faith and further accentuates her soul purpose of serving the Divine and His creation through her wellness mission ‘i to I’ (individual to Infinite).
