Dearest little Liza. On Monday, May 6th 2019 you left us. Forever, leaving an empty space. No more warm cuddles on my arm, no more walks (even though they were very short towards the end). No more playing with your toys, no more big staring eyes, hoping for treats. But also no more endless wandering and blank stares from your dementia. Nor early awakenings at 5 AM and wees/poos on the floor if we didn’t catch your fleeting signals. It’s painful, but perhaps the best thing to let you go... no more unrest. I got to babysit you in 2013 and the last six years have been wonderful. It's been a fantastic ride with you, albeit some naughty times when you were into mischief, but what would life be without that? Together with Loppa, Thelma, Emmy and Juba, you have given me and all the others so much joy, and we are forever grateful for the time you gave us here.
