I assembled a little mini version of my usual studio setup, using only budget synths (around $400-$600).. is it possible to make some good retro inspired 80s pop? Yes it is! I'm using the following gear in this song: DAW: MOTU Digital Performer 8.5 Sound card: MOTU MicroBook IIc MIDI Interface: MOTU Micro Lite Samples: Zenhiser 80s Retro Drummer (because the synths didn't have proper drumkits) Synths: Roland: Juno DS, SE-02 Yamaha: MX61, Reface DX Behringer: DeepMind6 Mixer: Thoman T-Mix DM-20 Thanks to , , and for facilitating the gear during this event. The song title is totally random, thanks to Song Name Generator on the internet!
