The Rock Monster of Lingendar is team Crowned Prince Productions' entry into the 2017 San Diego 48 Hour Film Project Competition. The festival challenges filmmakers to write, shoot, edit and finish a short film all in one weekend. The teams draw genres out of a hat at the beginning of the weekend and have to incorporate three elements into the film they turn in at the end. Team CPP and Team RD are longtime competitors in the Los Angeles 48HFP competition and this time decided to team up with another team, Iron Relic Entertainment, and go south for the San Diego competition! The genre team CPP drew was Fantasy and the city elements were as follows: Prop: A roll of Aluminum Foil Character: Jerry or Jennifer Larson, Restaurateur Line of Dialogue: "After all this time it still works."
