Andy Bell's video: Charles Raymond Lydeway Grandfather Clock

@Charles Raymond Lydeway Grandfather Clock
Beautiful with a lovely "Tick (wait a moment) Tock" Charles Raymond, Lydeway: This clock was made by Charles Raymond of Lydeway near Devizes around 1775. Charles Raymond was born in Stert in 1741 and was buried in 1823. He is known for his brass dial 30-hour clocks in cases of this style. This clock is a typical example of his work. The brass 11"dial is beautifully and unusually engraved in both red (a characteristic of Raymond dials of this period) and black, and also features a calendar aperture. The dark oak well-proportioned case has fretwork with dark red silk above the hood door. What is really spooky is I got it working and the date was RIGHT! 9th
