Andy Brown Jazz Guitar's video: Andy Brown with Trombonist Russ Phillips and Friends at the Green Mill in Chicago August 2016

Trombonist Russ Phillips has been one of my favorite musicians to play with for a long time! The same goes for all the musicians on this video. Russ and I got the idea to put together a promo video featuring small jazz groups of various sizes in the hopes of getting some work around Chicago. Not sure how many gigs ever materialized but we got some nice video footage out of it. Dave Jemilo was nice enough to let us use his fantastic club the Green Mill as a video studio and we had a lot of fun that day! We shot it in the early afternoon which is why there is no audience. The tunes and solos are short but the footage captures some swinging playing with some of my favorite Chicago jazz artists.
