It's pretty well known by now that Japanese convenience store food is quite good. Yet it seems as though the more time goes by, the better the menu items become. I mean, I had crab with spaghetti in a creamy tomato sauce recently and I was left wondering how this was all feasible in an economic sense. Maybe the salarymen still frown upon these meals even though they are so busy. Opting instead to pop by a ramen place for a meal that's a few hundred yen dearer. When all the dust settles though, convenience store food will always be that few hundred Yen cheaper than any other option.
