By taking off the back plate you can simply swap it for other 9-pin tubes such as a 12ax7, 12at7 or 12au7 for the cleanest route. The tube is safely socketed and always getting proper voltage from a 9V DC (430mA) adapter thanks to an internal voltage multiplier to give you a high headroom, touch sensitive experience. A major feature on V2 is more gain and output thanks to its switchable boost circuit. The gain on the boost channel picks up where the normal channel leaves off or you can dial the gain back and set the volume louder for a clean boost on top of the overdrive. In addition to a wider tone sweep for brighter sounds, the Space Charged V2 adds a fat/tight switch to shape the low end so your guitar and amp can match perfectly to the pedal.
