Each have their own Loudness and Gain, while a shared EQ keeps Mother’s voice consistent. Plus, you can match to any pickup type and tighten up any tone for Guitar or Bass with a powerful Depth control which shapes the pre-gain low end while the Absence rolls off high end harmonics and the end of the chain. These two controls alone make the Mother easy to match with various rigs whether you need a preamp to gobble up pedals or something to excite your bass before going direct in the studio.
