AndyDemos's video: Beetronics FX - Larva Morphing Phaser

This Morphing Phaser gets it name from its two individual Speed and Depth presets that can ramp back and forth in a myriad of ways. The Larva starts with an all analog 6-stage phaser/vibrato that is enhanced by a global resonance control. The swirling tones are preceded by a fat analog preamp inspired by the epic Moogerfooger pedals and Beetronics liked it so much, they added the option for the preamp to be used all by itself, in conjunction with the master vol. Although the signal path is analog, the Larva’s digital control means you’re spoiled for choice by its tap tempo and 3 ramping modes for morphing between speeds 1&2. You can simply toggle back and forth, make the change momentarily, climb up to a speed and drop back instantly or mimic a rotary speaker's acceleration as the LED array crawls from side to side. Beetronics made sure the Larva is follows the “What you see is what you get” philosophy but there are a couple extras parameters to tweak like tap tempo multipliers for Speed 2 and the LFO offset of the phaser for a wider variety of pulses and rhythmic possibilities.
