When the Coronavirus hit Anik Khan’s neighborhood in Queens, New York, it had devastating effects for him and his family. With his parents stuck in Bangladesh due to the travel restrictions, Khan remembered a promise he had made to his father years ago: To sing and release a song in his native language of Bangla. Originally performed by Kumar Bishwajit, Bengali-American artist Anik Khan reimagines this traditional folk song for 2020.
