@SHOCKING: Pig dying during transport in Burlington, Ontario
Heartbreaking new footage captured outside Fearmans Pork slaughterhouse in Burlington, Ontario on July 5, 2020 shows appalling pig suffering. On a sweltering hot day this summer, the pigs were crammed into a transport truck so tightly that they were forced to climb and step on top of each other inside the moving vehicle. The pigs were panting, with one pig was completely unresponsive, with her tongue hanging from her mouth, while another pig gently nudged her. This pig likely suffered a painful, prolonged death from heat stress. Tell the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Industry (CFIA) to prosecute the meat industry for routinely sacrificing animal welfare for the relentless pursuit of profit. Please demand that the CFIA inspectors to investigate this crime, and enforce Canadian transport laws! https://bit.ly/transportcruelty
